Hiya! Just stopped by because I saw your comment and wanted to give you a little tip. To help avoid burning polymer clay pieces in the oven, try baking them on a ceramic tile, or set a few tiles around the oven rack (just not too many). The tiles will help regulate the heat in the oven. The only down side is that anything you bake on the tile will probably have a shiny bottom. You can put a piece of plain paper under the pieces to avoid this though. Ceramic tiles can be gotten at just about any home improvement store, and only cost about $1 each or less. I haven't had a single burn on my pieces since I started using them (except when I was visiting someone and had to use a toaster oven, then just about everything was burnt).
